WHAT WE DO
CREATE AMAZING STORIES
The Anchor & the Kite
The Anchor, a heavy, weather-worn, and rusty anchor, lives on a stone-filled island with the open sky and free birds reminding him of his grounded life.
The Kite, a vibrant and brave girl, has little control over her life and ambitions to explore the world.
A life-changing encounter between the two leads to their finding love and complete each other. They realize that home is where they are together, despite the elements that separate them. The anchor and Kite's lives are intertwined, highlighting the importance of balance and connection in life.
Written and performed by Canadian singer and songwriter Forest Blakk and animated by Jeff Myers, “The Anchor and The Kite” is a sweeping epic about finding love and acceptance in the most unlikely places. A reimagining of the “opposites attract” narrative, the song explores a sense of deep yearning and the subsequent bond that forms between two individuals from vastly different worlds. Beautiful and elemental, the story weaves in and out of light and shadow, water and air, eventually landing in the liminal space where the anchor and the kite can seamlessly coexist.
M
a tragedy in typography
'M' is a tragic moral tale presented in a Noir style about a grieving and anxious orphan who tries to adjust to a new life after being taken in by his estranged stepfamily.
Taken from a familiar, safe environment and abruptly moved to a place that despises his "kind," he realizes he must continue hiding his true identity to survive in a violently hostile and xenophobic society.
When he finally meets someone he can genuinely love and trust, he reveals his true identity, and everything becomes worse.
American Legendarium
American Legendarium is a anthology series of short stories that explores American folklore and music. Each story stands on its own, but shares a common reimagining of masterpieces of early American song—tall tales, ghost stories, cursed lovers, haunted objects.
The stories are gritty, and rooted in the natural world — smoke, blood, whiskey, and crackling with spirit.
The mythic elements remain, but they're worn-down, human, and real. Heroes are heavy. Monsters walk in the sunlight. Supernatural events unfold like the slow drawing of a knife.
The series is a reinvention of our mythic dirt and glory. It delves into the hearts of dreamers, outcasts, spiritual giants and doomed souls. It’s about the howl and the hush. The ride and the wreck of the peculiarity of the American experience.
